VACANCY: Sales Executive

The Company
Our client, a leading Telecoms operator based in Malta, is looking for a Sales Executive to join their team.

The Role
To maximise the migrations and new connections from new and existing clients ensuring that individual targets are met and exceeded where possible. To work as part of a team in order to maximise sales activity for post-paid products and services.

This role requires a high degree of resilience and dedication, and the ability to independently develop a network of key contacts in order to drive connections.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
1. Achieve sales objectives, as assigned by company:
· To have direct sales responsibility for the growth of sales connections from competition and new market
· To ensure personal monthly, quarterly and yearly targets set by the revelant Manager are achieved
· Responsible for the setting and implementation of personal sales strategy in order to reach agreed personal targets

2. Prepare weekly sales report, analysing and interpreting trends and forward looking sales plan:
· Submit weekly reports to the Manager for individual performance
· Submit monthly reports assessing performance and successes in the month, current progress with objectives, highlighting forward plans along with any known or foreseen problems

3. Build and maintain relationships with customers and proactively source sales leads and opportunities:
· Build and maintain relationships within the accounts
· Proactively source sales leads and opportunities to ensure sales opportunities are maximised
· The role will have both an element of telesales and customer visits. There will be a call rate and sales expectation.

4. Maintain and enter accurate customer contacts in database and log sheet:
· Maintain complete and accurate records of all customer contacts on the assigned company sales database

5. Quality:
· Ensures own work processes are documented to ensure continuity. Regular back up of files.

Technical / Professional Expertise:
· Minimum of 2 years Sales & Customer Experience, preferably in Communications & Internet related industry
· Be Computer Literate (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
· Ability to prioritise, schedule and monitor sales programmes
· High level negotiation and closing skills
· Be a team player, have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to converse with people at all levels
· Ability to focus and achieve objectives, and have excellent time management skills
· Understanding of key drivers of value in the telecommunications industry
· Excellent written communication and presentation skills to ensure credibility with senior management

VACANCY: Brand Manager

Our client, a global leader in the food distribution, has an opening for a Brand Manager to join their established team in Malta.

Main Objective
To prepare, develop and coordinate all marketing efforts on behalf of the company for a number of brands / categories, as the company may see fit to adjust from time to time.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Participate in the strategic planning and development of the brands falling within your responsibility
- Prepare marketing plans, establishing objectives, strategies and marketing investments in line with development plans
- Implement marketing plans on a product specific basis
- Analyse and review product performance in relation to marketing investments, outlining proposals for the introduction of new initiatives, or ways to re-develop / upgrade existing programmes
- Provide analytical monthly updates on product performance and co-ordinate efforts with supply chain to ensure adequate level of stocks
- Interact with the distributors handling categories falling under your responsibility, where applicable, and maintain a healthy business relationship with them
- Initiate, develop and maintain a market research programme on existing and new products where required
- Initiate and maintain a shelf space allocation programmes for the brands / product categories falling within the job incumbent’s responsibilities
- Interact with advertising agencies and suppliers, and supervise all advertising campaigns
- Monitor / supervise customer contact activities to ensure client satisfaction and that objectives of activities planned are achieved
- Monitor and control marketing spending on a regular basis
- Collaborate with the sales department in order to maximise impact of client / consumer promotion activities
- Identify potential opportunities for new product launches
- Perform any other duties which may be assigned from time to time

Under the direct supervision of the Marketing Manager, or in his/her absence the Managing Director.

VACANCY: Senior Fund Accountant

Our client is an international specialist in emerging market investments, using the multi managed route to diversify investment risk. It has been investing in these markets since 1989 and has a team of investment professionals throughout the world.

The Role
•    The new Senior Fund Accountant will report directly to the and the COO of the firm. You will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the fund management business as well as managing the operations of the team you will also contribute to the Investment selection.

This includes:
•    Preparation of management accounts
•    Financial reporting
•    Acting as Director and Investment Committee Member for the Malta based Management Company
•    Annual budget preparation and updates
•    Interaction with third party auditors and administrators
•    Tax and tax filing for the various group companies
•    Intercompany transfers and reconciliations, compliance – MFSA returns, and general cash management
•    You must be able to work in a small company environment

Requirements
•    Be comfortable in a multi-currency environment that is fast paced
•    Have minimum of years post-qualification experience, with a well recognised audit company as well as experience in a fund management company
•    Understand the financial and regulatory issues of running a fund management business in Malta and Internationally
•    Understand the internal workings of funds
•    Have experience of preparing management accounts from scratch on a monthly basis
•    Have exposure to tax matters in multiple jurisdictions
