Our client is a cutting edge e-commerce company that requires a Junior Front End Developer. This will prove a great opportunity for somebody with a 2:1 degree and at least 1 year’s experience, or a Masters graduate. This role is based in Spain.

Responsibilities:

·         Re-factor existing Javascript and PHP5 code to improve performance, clarity, and   extensibility

·         Implement and maintain product and technical features of companies website and   applications in PHP5 and Javascript

·         Implement and maintain automated tests of the user interface

·         Write PHP5-doc style documentation of all methods and classes implemented

·         Analyse and eliminate security vulnerabilities

·         Debug issues on the companies websites

·         Participate in product development and feature design processes

Skills Required:

·         Proven knowledge of object-oriented programming in C #,PHP5 and Java

·         Enjoys experimenting with new browser technologies, user interfaces, and 3rd-party           APIs

·         Experienced with web applications

·         Strong will to adhere to best practices in OO development and a need to leave well-            structured code in your tracks

·         Basic knowledge of Javascript

·         Experience and knowledge of APIs

·         Strong academic record 2:1 or top tier degree Masters helpful not essential with 1 years      work experience.

·         Candidates with a strong Masters degree will be considered at entry level.
